iglide® xiros® ball bearings open new fields of application for plastic bearing technology. The inner and outer races are made from high-performance iglide® materials. The corrosion-free balls are made from stainless steel. Glass balls are also available for maximum corrosion resistance.
xiros® is made from either iglide® A500, which is a temperature-resistant material up to 302°F (150°C), or iglide® B180, which is temperature resistant up to 176°F (80°C).
xiros® is a range of single-row, grooved ball bearings in accordance with DIN 625. The lubrication- and maintenance-free ball bearings are comprised of four components:
the outer race
the inner race
the cage
and the balls
