Additional digital I/O module for the igus Robot Control

The additional I/O module is suitable for the igus Robot Control. Thanks to the plug & play installation, connection in the control cabinet is easy to realise and no additional cabling is required. The I/O module has 7 digital inputs and 7 digital outputs. The inputs are electrically decoupled from the control electronics via an optocoupler and can receive 24V input signals.
The outputs are solid state relays that can switch up to 500mA per channel . The DIO module does not have its own supply voltage.
The inputs are optocouplers that can recognise a 24V signal. The signal and signal ground must be connected to the DIO module.
Indicators: If the status of a sensor input or an output changes, the orange LED on the top flashes once.
The I/O module can be used to control different actuators, valves or sensors .
 
Control system

The igus Robot Control enables a simple and intuitive system for robot control and programming, making it easy to get started with automation. The modular design makes it possible to control various igus kinematics, such as delta robots. The delta robot can be controlled directly with all its advantages using our igus® Robot Control.
The free-of-charge, licence-free igus Robot Control software is integrated into the control system and thus makes use of a uniform operating concept and consistent communication services for many components of a system. This entails less project planning effort and faster commissioning.
The igus Robot Control is not a component of the part and can optionally be purchased from us. A master control system is not necessary.
