igubal J3EM-SD – Bearing insert with seal for use in demanding environments

The igubal bearing insert with integrated seal has been specially developed for applications in dirty and abrasive environments. This lubrication-free plastic alternative to conventional UC tension bearings offers high wear resistance and reliable protection against ingress of dirt particles.

The machined bearing insert is made from the high-performance plastic iglidur J3 and is fitted with an iglidur A160 seal on one or both sides. The integrated sealing ring prevents dust, dirt, and other abrasive particles from entering the moving contact area between the bearing and the shaft, significantly reducing wear.

• Temperature range [°C]: -50 to +90, briefly +120
• Advantages: Maintenance-free, lubrication-free, durable, insensitive to dust and dirt, vibration-damping, good chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, very good wear resistance, resistant up to a radiation intensity of 1 · 10⁴ Gy, PTFE-free, tested for 96 PFAS considered harmful 
• Dimension series: Based on DIN 626-1 (Rolling bearings - Deep groove ball bearings with spherical outer ring surface and widened inner ring - Part 1: Tension bearings)
• Application environment: High speeds, maximum wear resistance under low to medium pressure loads, minimum wear with a wide range of different shafts, low friction coefficients in dry running conditions
